But at least we know now when that launch will be – the New York Motor Show in April. So we shouldn’t have to wait long to see proper pictures of the M5 rivalling E63 AMG in its latest iteration. So what do we know about the car?
Mercedes-Benz officials confirmed on Thursday that the 2012 E63 AMG wagon will be part of the North American lineup. Slated to arrive in October, the high-performance wagon will get the same 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged, direct-injection V8 that debuted in the 2012 E63 AMG sedan at the New York auto show in March. It produces 518 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.
Hyundai is set to expand its Elantra range with the introduction of two new models, the GT hatchback – based on the European i30 – and the all-new Coupe, shown here. The Coupe continues Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design language, this time applied to the Elantra's long and low proportions. At 4,539mm in length, 1,775mm wide, 1,435mm high and with a wheelbase of 2,700mm, the Coupe is 9mm longer and 216mm lower than the Elantra sedan.
